A college education is possible for you. Leeward CC offers high-quality education at the lowest tuition rates in the state. Even though our tuition is affordable, we realize that you may still need help finding ways to pay for your education. Let us help you find the resources that can help you manage your college expenses.

Meeting needs in areas of basic living, technology, and academics might also be a challenge for you. We offer support services to help you overcome these barriers so you can focus on your education.

Find out what you need to know about getting financial assistance for your education. Apply for federal, institutional, and state aid for FREE by completing the FAFSA application.

Through Open Educational Resources (OER), weʻve been able to save our students over $6.3 million (since 2016) on textbook costs. Leading the way in the UH System, 58% of our courses offer no cost for textbooks. You can use the money you save on textbooks for other educational or personal expenses.

U-Pass/Holo Card

TheBus University Bus Pass Program or U-PASS is a reduced-rate bus pass tailored to the needs of Hawaii’s University students.


  • All Students with a valid Leeward Community College identification card.
  • Students must have REGISTERED AND PAID for the SPRING 2024 semester

Cost: $225.00 *** CASH ONLY ***

Valid Dates: January 1, 2024 – May 31, 2024

Available for Sale: December 11, 2023 – February 29, 2024

  • Must present a valid Leeward CC identification card at the time of purchase
  • All sales final. NO REFUNDS!
  • The University assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft, destruction, or misplacement of this pass.

The U-PASS is NON-TRANSFERABLE and the City assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, destruction, or misplacement of this pass.
